An elegant brass vase, hand-crafted in Japan, Showa Period. The finish is Murashido, a centuries-old technique that consists in quenching the cast brass in hot oil and smoke it with rice straw, which gives the vase a beautiful mottled patina. The finish of this vase is in red and brown.
Dimensions: 9" high x 5" diameter. Signed at the bottom.
