The Ming Dragon Pattern first introduced by Meissen in the 18th century and inspired by Chinese prototypes, the Ming Dragon has remained one of the manufactory’s most sought-after patterns, reserved for prestigious orders and still produced only in limited numbers due to its complexity.
The underside bears the Meissen crossed swords mark in underglaze blue, confirming authenticity, together with impressed form numbers and a painter’s mark in red enamel. This piece has an attribution mark,
