It is somewhat reminiscent of designs by Pierre … Read more This elegant lounge chair dates from an unknown Dutch production around 1950. It is somewhat reminiscent of designs by Pierre Jeanneret or the Hungarian/Dutch designer Elmar Berkovich. Despite its excellent, very robust construction made of solid birch wood, the chair is lightweight and easy to move from one location to another. A professional restorer has lightly refinished the wooden parts and partially reglued them. An upholstery studio has completely remade the loose seat cushion and covered it with a Kvadrat Hallingdal wool fabric. The lounge chair is in perfect condition. Seat height 34 cm. See less
