Hand-carved in the 1600s, this Gothic-style walnut trunk has a highly unique appearance with the stripped main body in between the lid and apron that have maintained the original finish. The removal of the original finish has added character to the trunk, allowing the box joints to be seen, as well as the iron brackets that help keep the sides together.
