Impressionist pastel on heavy paper of a wetlands scene by Washington State artist Susan Flora Glendenning (born 1948.) Pacific Northwest landscape, probably coastal near the Sound around Olympia. Unsigned, from a large group of her work, her name is on the back, but probably not her signature.
Glendenning was born in Virginia and trained at Meredith College in Raleigh, graduating in 1971. She continued her education in North Carolina before spending time in Europe. She has been a Pacific Northwest resident since 1979.
