Wonderfully chippy and patinated antique small Italian busts made out of clay or chalkware. Sourced from the estate of a British military veteran and diplomat who acquired these during his travels in Italy during the first half of the 20th century and dated to the 1800s. No makers mark or brand.
Eros is the Greek god of love, often acting as a catalyst. Hermes is the Greek god acting as messenger for the gods, also a catalyst. Together, this small pair makes a great impact in a variety of decor styles and settings and are wonderfully versatile. Dimensions are per piece.
