We are selling this gorgeous Mid-Century American impressionist painting of a landscape with waterfall. This piece has great luminist impressionist style that is very reminiscent of J.M.W. Turner. This painting appears to be executed in oil pastels on paper, or a unique mix of oil and pastel as there are visible brush strokes in areas. The painting appears to be signed illegibly in the lower right “Scott Shaw” was our best guess.
Condition: Good overall condition, well framed. Tear in the sky section of the piece that may be intentional. Some drips on the lower right.
