A vibrant and atmospheric vintage 1970’s oil on canvas painting by Eric Lewis, capturing the iconic Arc de Triomphe in Paris with an impressionist touch. The scene portrays a lively Parisian boulevard with strolling figures, colorful architecture, and tree-lined streets bathed in warm golden and violet hues. The artist’s expressive brushwork and softened palette create a romantic, dreamlike interpretation of the City of Light.
The painting is signed “ESL” in the lower right corner and retains its original vintage frame. On the reverse, an exhibition tag identifies the work as part of a St. Thomas Aquinas College High School Art Exhibition, lending it a unique provenance as an early student piece by Lewis.
