The plate is titled *epeiroidae, theridioidae, epeiroidae*, indicating orb-weaver spiders, cobweb spiders, and additional orb-weavers. It includes six detailed specimens rendered with exceptional precision by the natural history illustrator ed. Van ravesteijn (ed.rv.), lithographed by a.j.w. And printed by p.w\.m. Trap in leiden.
