This high quality ceramic art vase was designed by Hans Welling for the Ceramano workshop in West-Germany during the 1960s.
The beautiful bottle-shaped vessel was handcrafted and is signed on the underside. The so-called 'Negro-Decor' was produced in a smaller limited edition of vases in different shapes. This special glaze has matte and glossy elements.
Hans Welling was artistic director at Ceramano in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
