This stunning design is called Sphingi in reference of the Egyptian sphinx , indeed Mariano Fortuny created several designs that were inspired by the french Empire style , and this one is splendid you will find a very elegant and profusion of details all over , this design is still in production but not in this wonderful eggplant color so is the trim that you can only and rarely found in older pieces as it s not produce nowadays .Fortuny is a reference in true elegance and this design speaks by itself , circa 1950 , the panels are 98 "H and 59 " W at top due to pleating 34" W can be adapted , once again we have two matching pairs , and two others that have slightly different size please check them as it represent a unique opportunity to create a large project . the curtains have a backing and isolation .Please check our large selection of Fortuny textiles of all kind that we have listed in our Chairish shop at FRENCHTOUCH10 See less
