The most charming hand painted porcelain ashtray or catchall dish, by Ardalt Lenwile China. This piece is marked "Occupied Japan," which indicates it was made immediately following WWII, between 1945-1952. It is beautifully painted with a floral motif in shades of green, with small yellow, coral, and blue flowers, and gilt accents. The best feature of this piece is that the motif continues around the sides as well, making it beautiful from all angles.
We'd style this on a coffee table as a catch all or as a stunning way to store your precious rings or earrings on your vanity.
