solid wood;
refurbished in antique style turquoise green.
(not chalk paint, but high-quality
artist acrylic lacquer). Accented with copper and gold.
the cabinet was originally made in antique style in

masterpiece of craftsmanship,
based on a 17th-century style,
from solid oak.

the shelves inside rest on crossbars,
which are inserted into the side tooth grids
and the shelf heights can be adjusted as desired.
if you remove 2 shelves,
you could also insert a
clothes rail to use it as a
wardrobe.

all locks still work
perfectly. Original keys are included.


the cabinet is heavy, but
can be completely dismantled, making it easy
to carry and transport.
the cabinet is simply slotted together
and held together with 5 bolt screws.
the back panel can be
fastened with screws, but this is
not absolutely necessary.
the cabinet can be assembled by one person,
except when placing the roof on top, which requires
two people.

condition:
there are hardly any signs of age on this
cabinet, because the many
small notches everywhere were
intended at the time to imitate a cabinet
from the 17th century.
the cabinet is generally still in very
good condition.
only one minor flaw:
the bottom section with the drawers has
a shrinkage crack in the middle of the bottom.
however, this is not a problem, as the bottom is
still extremely stable. Shrinkage cracks
often occur in old wood
over the decades, in cabinets, on table tops, etc.
the cabinet was built sometime in the
first half of the last century,
but it is impossible to say how old the wood really
was. It could
also be much older. See less
