This vintage mid century modern glass column and chrome base floor lamp designed by Stewart Ross James for Hansen Lighting Co., N.Y. is circa 1970. The sleek, modernist design features a simple solid glass cylindrical column on a polished chrome square base. The lamp is sturdy and incredibly well-made and has triple porcelain sockets with a unique three-way collar switch at the top of the column and a clear plug-in cord. The base stands on four adjustable leveling chrome feet. Lampshade not included. Stamped “Hansen Lamps, New York” on underside.
CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use.
