Sconce is richly decorated with refined classical motifs including ribbons, lures, and acanthus leaves, characteristic of the Adams style. The sconce is crowned with a carved ribbon and central medallion bearing a lion mask, symbolic of strength and protection. Flowing swags of beaded garlands drape gracefully along the sided, connecting to scrolled lyre-shaped elements at the center.
