This Really is a Quite Rare & Unusual Antique Sundial. Monumental Size Measuring Approx 14 3/4 inches Long - Wide x 6 1/4 inches Tall. It Bears the State Seal of Massachusetts Indicating that it was Most Likely Salvaged From Massachusetts State - Governmental - Historical - Parks & Recreations Location Etc. The Inner Chapter Ring is Rendered in a Classic Roman Numeral Numeral Style Hours of the Day Motif. The Outer Chapter Ring Bears the Motto "GROW OLD ALONG WITH ME THE BEST IS YET TO BE". The Directional - Pointer has a Horned Owl at Mid Section. It is Substantially Cast in Solid Bronze with an Approx Weight of 9 1/2 Pounds!
It is in Excellent All Original Just Exactly as it has Survived Over the Years Condition. It Still Retains its Outstanding Honest Age and Exposure Acquired Colors - Patina - Verdigris Etc. and it Displays Beautifully. Minor Imperfection - Restoration Noted the Tip of the Pointer was Broken Off at Some Point in Time in the Distant Past but it is Strong and Sound - Professionally Repaired and Reattached.
