Juan Ripolles, Spanish (b. 1932) Mixed Media Hand-Embellished Etching on Carborundum Deckled Edge Paper. Artist signed and numbered 20/45. Framed under plexiglass.
Juan Ripollés is a Spanish artist whose work is characterized by a distinctive bold color palette. He is known for his paintings as well as his unique sculptures. Ripolles began his art career with an evening drawing course at the Francisco Ribalta School in Castellon where he grew up. He later moved to Paris and established his circle of artist friends and creative oevre. Ripolles's public sculptures can be found in city’s all over the world including Valencia, Den Bosch, Ede and Castellon.
