Once upon a time, the US was dotted with small ceramic stores. You bought the already fired piece (bisque), painted it with glaze how you wanted, had it fired again and in about a week took took home something YOU painted just for your own home. Many sold blank plates, so you could make your own China set. Then there were standards like Holland molds. Lastly, we had boutique pieces. Molds created by artists who created pieces of art. When the pottery places closed, the molds to pieces like these were lost. Hit the pictures for the details. I've found no damage, but I have trust issues. Assume crazing that I haven't found.
The teapot is 12 x 6 x 8.5, the sugar is 5 x 3.5 x 5.5. These are unique, one of a kind pieces- please be careful with them.
