Johan Adam Klein 1792 was a German painter and engraver. He received drawing lessons from Christoph Von Bemmel, was apprenticed at the studio of Nuremberg copper plate engraver Ambrosius Gabler and studied at the Vienna Academy of fine arts. He was one of the most popular artists of his era and his works are featured in numerous galleries and museums. This historical etching "Zum Neuen Jahr 1817" or "to the new year 1817". This has been professionally framed and is an excellent condition.
