The Artemide label is displayed on the lamp. The lamp is in excellent condition for its age and use. It turns on and off easily. The futuristic shape and colors of the Nesso table lamp were designed in the 1960's by Giancarlo Mattioli and Gruppo Architetti Urbanisti Città Nuova. Its space-age form was achieved using newly-available injection-molded thermoplastic resins- an early adopter of that material. Nesso's design has been copied by other makers. Nesso is now a design icon and is included as permanent collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Museum of Modern Art. Dimensions: 14" H X 21.2" D. See less
