Was featured in the Chairs show in the prestigious Trios Gallery in the Cedros design district in Solana Beach, CA (San Diego area).
Originally priced by gallery at $2,200 in today's money.
Reupholstered with updated Jacobian-style fabric around 2022.
About the proprietary copper finish:
The solid copper is coated with a proprietary secret finish developed 26 years ago which creates the rich dark color and a natural depth and variations you see on the photo.
Unlike plain polished copper, it will not tarnish and become black, but will retain the exact color you see.
This finish has been tested in salt water on copper pieces that have been bent back & forth first with no signs of tarnishing after a month of submersion.
