Vibrant surrealist creation oil painting “Before the Dreamtime” with birds and figures by Harald Dry Schmit
Compelling and vibrant, we're pleased to offer this surrealist figurative painting by California artist Harald "Harry" Dry Schmidt (American, 1933-1979), circa 1970 Two bird like figures appear in foreground raising up into the air with two waif-like creatures onlooking. Flames and green vines in background create drama and movement for this creation motif.
Harald Dry Schmidt was an eclectic San Francisco Abstract and Outsider artist from 1960-1990.
Signed with monogram HDS in the lower right corner.
