Period Russian neoclassical table with original planter insert. Ebony and figured birch, brass inlay. Top bearing family monogram. Original ormolu mounts. Tables such as this were used as both side or console tables and were planted with spring bulbs. What a wonderful "Paper White" display it could make in the winter months.
