It adds dignity and grace to the life and culture of these elegant tribes people. The robes are traditional and have been worn as such down through the centuries. The walking sticks which are hand carved by the men can be very useful on the arid rocky plains. The land traditionally occupied by Maasai people, Nilotic ethnic group primarily located in the arid plains of northern Tanzania and southern Kenya. These red colorful robes have been a tradition for Millennia. I found this expressive painting which is painted in the Expressionistic style.
