Feature ornately decorated hexagonal polychrome porcelain … Read more An exquisite pair of 20th century Chinese Famille Rose Planters, Jardinieries or Cache Pots. Feature ornately decorated hexagonal polychrome porcelain form with koi fish painted along the inside. The exterior has a beautiful alternating pattern of oriental figures set between a flowing pattern of insects, chrysanthemums, foliate and decorative wares over gold. A true pair with mirrored scenes. One shows two musicians with a geisha or dancer holding a lotus flower. Another shows three wise men or elders and the last shows a large man with child holding a basket of flowers. The lip of each vase has a vibrant green repeating wave crest pattern along the outside and the tops have a colorful scene of birds, foliate and lotus flowers. The vase rest on wooden scrolled stands and are stamped along the base. A charming addition and statement in any space!
