Stunning original 1951 charcoal and graphite self-portrait drawn by listed artist Jean-Marie Sorgue (French, 1924-2010). Rendered in black and white, Sorgue captures an introspective tone with his stoic expression and dramatic lighting. Professionally framed in a sleek light wood frame with recessed notch detail and a clean white matboard. Signed and dated on verso.

Excellent vintage condition with no visible damage to the artwork. There is one small spot on the glass with some minor scratches and surface wear (pictured).
