Mark Feijão Milligan II, born in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, developed his artistic foundation under Cindy Male, studying painting, drawing, graphic design, and architecture.
At 16, he apprenticed under Paul Youngblood, during which he won the U.S. National Congressional Art Competition, earning the opportunity to represent the U.S. Virgin Islands and have his work exhibited in the U.S. Capitol.
At 17, he moved to New York City to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the School of Visual Arts, where he studied under esteemed artists Don Eddy, Max Ginsburg, Marvin Mattelson, and Jack Potter.
His work has been exhibited at institutions including the Frederiksted Fort Museum (U.S.V.I.), Avante Yard (NY), BOE Laboratory (DC), Corridors Gallery (NY), Plaza Club (HI), Louis Pohl Gallery (HI), Honolulu Museum of Art School (HI), Maui Arts & Cultural Center (HI), First Hawaiian Center (HI), ARTS at Marks Garage (HI), Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts (U.S.V.I.), and Utah MOCA (UT).
He has created murals for Central Park SummerStage, Adidas, and Pow! Wow! Hawai‘i, and has performed live art for Former Vice President Al Gore, Lauryn Hill, and De La Soul. His work has been featured in NCIS: Hawai‘i (CBS), Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big GRRRLS (Amazon Prime), ELLE.com, FLUX Hawai‘i magazine, and a For Freedoms billboard campaign.
