Fabulous, enormous plate made of glazed, vitrified ceramic and entirely hand-decorated, created by the Royal School of Avellino around 1920, signed on the back. This plate is in full Futurist style, as can be seen from the bold yet rather dark colors, the mustard background, and the deep black used, as well as the richly curled floral wreaths, the simplicity of the figures on the girello, against a black background, and finally the decorations on the rim, consisting of several pairs of symmetrical stylized ibex, placed back to back, all classic elements of Futurist ceramics of the Roman Secession. The Girello depicts a classical scene, with an image from Greek mythology; we believe it to be either the goddess of dawn, Eos, charged with opening the gates of paradise to let in the sun, or Nike, the goddess of victory, also called Winged Victory, depicted abducting Tithonus. In excellent condition and with excellent measurements, the object is truly large, measuring 48 centimeters in diameter and weighing almost 4 kg, making it an undoubtedly impressive dish. Finally, the ceramic biscuit is thick and the patina covering the object is excellent. This piece has an attribution mark,
