Semi Antique Persian Baktiari Rug, handwoven with wool on a cotton foundation in Iran’s Baktiari region and carefully distressed and refinished in the U.S. Measuring 11'1" x 13'4". Persian rugs embody a centuries-old tradition of Iranian art and culture, with weaving techniques tracing back to the Bronze Age. The oldest surviving examples date to the 16th-century Safavid dynasty.
