A sculptural mid-century Brutalist basket in satin-finished steel, dating to the 1960s–1970s. Designed with arched steel rods radiating upward, each capped with a polished ball finial, and supported on spherical feet, the piece combines geometry with industrial elegance.
Unmarked, but in the style of European modernist serveware produced in Italy (Brevettato, Artemide) and Germany (WMF) during the period. Its crown-like form exemplifies mid-century explorations of functional objects as sculpture, bridging art and utility.
