We are pleased to sell works on behalf of Celia RobertsBorn 1950 in Stafford
Educated at Oxford University 1969-1973 BA Hons in Hebrew.
She has exhibited in the Arterie Gallery in Ludlow, and in the Washington Gallery in Penarth.
Celia Roberts’s pictures, although highly influenced by religion, are intended to capture states of feeling rather than theological ideas. The painter has always been fascinated by the idea of the women at the tomb; the Mary Magdalene’s unexpected meeting with someone she thought dead, especially as depicted by Duccio di Boninsegna
