Ceramic vase from the 1940s designed by Nathalie Krebs for Saxbo. Made of characteristic stoneware with nuanced glaze in warm orange and brownish tones. Saxbo was founded in 1929 by Nathalie Krebs and Franz Syberg and quickly became known for its technically precise and aesthetically austere stoneware. Krebs' work is characterized by simple, sculptural forms and experimental glazes, as in this vase, where the play of color changes character with the light and the surface.
