The relic is housed in an oval reliquary with convex glass and interior Baroque-Neoclassical filigree decoration on a red background. The handwritten label inside the reliquary reads: "S. Cælest, P.C.," "Saint Celestine, Pontiff Confessor."
Housed in a silver-gilt metal box.
The back retains the original red wax seal, along with purple silk cords, indicating that it was officially authenticated between the late 18th and mid-19th centuries. The seal includes an episcopal coat of arms.
