This chair is a good looking and well made original Art Deco example, circa 1920-1940, the frame is Mahogany and Beech and the leather is period, the seat platform is webbed and coil sprung, the chair rotates, it has a height adjustable dome on top of the base and a tilt tension bar Condition wise, as mentioned this chair has been restored from the ground up, the leather upholstery has been washed back, hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed waxed down and polish, there will be age and use related patina marks all over as you would expect from a 80-100 year old piece Dimensions: Height:- 114cm adjustable Width:- 81cm Depth:- 83cm Seat height:- 50cm adjustable This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
