This vintage Turkish Oushak runner, measuring 3' x 11'11", is handwoven with wool on a wool foundation in the Oushak region of Western Turkey. Originating from the Anatolian plateau, known as the birthplace of oriental rug weaving, each village developed unique patterns and color schemes seldom replicated by others. Celebrated for their bold geometric motifs and gentle color palettes, these rugs have been prominently featured in historic European artworks and remain highly regarded by interior design professionals.
