The series was compiled by H. Dolmetsch, a noted architectural historian and design educator based in Stuttgart, Germany. The first print in the set presents a masterful study of classical Greek architectural elements rendered in fine monochrome linework. Central to the composition is a beautifully detailed Caryatid figure, flanked by Ionic, Doric, and Corinthian capitals, acanthus ornaments, winged mythological beasts, and sculptural lion protomes. All margins are intact, and the reverse sides are blank.
