The light emits a soft, directed downward light, ideal for reading nooks or atmospheric accent lighting. The joint on the shade, with a small wing screw, allows the light cone to be adjusted. The decorative cable routing is a distinctive feature: the connecting cable is neatly arranged along the pole with small wooden beads – a charming detail that underscores the craftsmanship.

The combination of the wooden tripod made of beechwood, the slender wooden shaft, and the wooden arm on the side corresponds exactly to the Temde material language of the late 1950s and 1960s. The typical wooden bead covering on the cable can be found on several documented Temde lamps, especially pendant models.

The folded, fabric-covered conical shade also matches Temde shades of the period (linen/parchment look). Together with the type of joint mount, this creates a harmonious, self-contained Temde image.

Condition: Very well-preserved, fully functional vintage condition with a harmonious, age-appropriate patina. Wood with minor signs of wear/dents, surface cleaned and cared for. Shade neatly and tightly folded, with slight, age-related irregularities. Electrical system tested; normal minor signs of wear on the switch, socket, and cable do not affect use. Overall, ready for immediate use and decorative.
