The chairs feature a classic Louis XVI style horseshoe (Fer á Cheval) or balloon (Montgolfier) back design on the splat. The painted frames have an intentionally, distressed patina on the finish to mimic age. Produced by Maitland-Smith late 20th century with 18th century European influence. The generous seats have woven cane inset and carved rosettes on the corners of the aprons. The seats are supported by turned legs ending with toupie feet.
