An early 20th. Century reproduction styled upon figures from the Thai Rattanakosin Kingdom 1782-1932.
This female figure is made from solid dark brown bronze and beautifully gilded throughout - the rich colours contrast beautifully. She rests upon a decorated rectangular platform playing the phin (Thai: พิณ) in a sitting position. Traditionally clad in formal or court costume - the detail of which is quite exquisite. Lovely classy pieces for a console in a foyer or lobby, on a mantel or wherever you choose.
There is no damage and the sculpture is in excellent order.
