Blue painted seashells at the … Read more A beautiful 19th-century Royal Delft cachepot features a curvaceous oval shape with a scalloped rim. Blue painted seashells at the sides flank wave-like scrolls above a nautical seascape of ships at sea. A central angel or cherub bust on each side overlooks the sailors, and one side features a windmill and farmhouse in the distance. Blue painted foliage and fleur de lis along the bottom edge terminate in subtle feet. Royal Delft and Joost Thooft markings on the bottom, along with Etruria, which may signify the name of the design. See less
