Fabulous antique pair of Louis XVI double-handled vases in hard-paste porcelain, made in full Rococo style, richly decorated on the base, rim, and handles, and entirely finished in pure gold, with a central floral decoration on the body, also in pure gold, attributable to Jacob Petit. The pair is unsigned and can be dated to the late 19th century. Under the base are two antique nuts and bolts, heavily rusted, contemporary with the dating of the vases.

A quick online search shows that a pair of similar vases, also attributed to Jacob Petit and therefore unsigned like ours, are offered on renowned art and antiques sales platforms, such as the Internet, at prices ranging from €1,500 to €4,000 for the more elaborate ones. Finally, it should be noted that Jacob Petit did not always sign his works.
