Terracotta vase in the style of Walter Gerhard, Art Deco style, 1960s
Born during the mid-century design period, this verdigris terracotta vase is the result of post-war German production, strongly inspired by the Art Deco style and the taste of Walter Gerhard.
Its diabolo shape is decorated with a bas-relief of walking figures in profile in an Egyptian style, similar to the temple murals of ancient Egypt, and a Nile reed on the back, which is in keeping with its Art Deco inspiration, which is strongly Egyptian and orientalist.
Lovers of Art Deco vases, don't wait any longer! Adopt this vase in the style of Walter Gerhard without further delay.
