Antique bird print titled 'Circus Cineraceus'. This print depicts the ash-colored harrier. Originates from John Gould's 'The Birds of the Great Britain'. Artists and Engravers: John Gould (1804 - 1881) was an English ornithologist and bird artist. He published a number of monographs on birds, illustrated by plates that he produced with the assistance of his wife, Elizabeth Gould, and several other artists including Edward Lear, Henry Constantine Richter, Joseph Wolf and William Matthew Hart. Condition: Fair, minor defects. Discoloration and several tears. Please study image carefully. Date: c.1870 Overall size: 56 x 38.5 cm. Image size: 0.001 x 43 x 28 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
