Its playful form features a removable duck head stopper that adds both charm and function, making it an elegant yet charming piece of Italian design.

The design originates from the 1950s by Gio Ponti for Taddei di Empoli and was later also produced by the renowned glassmaker Toso Bagnoli.

This decanter is made in the signature “Empoli Verde,” a rich, luminous green tone that comes purely from the iron-rich sand of Empoli, Tuscany. Unlike other Empoli colors, which were achieved with added minerals, this tone is authentically natural and genuinely unique.

The duck shape makes this decanter a delightful example of mid-century artistry, perfect as a collector’s item or as a refined accent on a bar cart, table, or display shelf. with its lively presence, it easily becomes a conversation starter and brings playful elegance to any setting.

In very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and no chips. Unmarked.
