Chair designed by Thomas Harlev for Farstrup Møbler in Denmark. It is a chair that really makes its mark on any room it is placed in. It is visible and it does not go unnoticed!
The chair is made of dark teak and the ones in the pictures have a seat and back upholstered in high-quality wool textile from the Danish company Kvadrat, Hallingdal 65 and with color 166.
The model is like a neat armchair with very high seating comfort that still does not take up much space. The chair was designed back in the 1960s and the chair is a fine example of modern design from the mid-20th century that combines elegant curves with bold lines to create an iconic silhouette.
The back is generous and rounded, which creates comfortable support and a cozy feeling that allows you to really relax. The upholstered back not only contributes to wonderful comfort but also gives a luxurious feel that enhances the interior, while creating a wonderful room atmosphere. Combining both style and functionality, this design is a perfect choice for anyone who appreciates both aesthetics and comfort.
The back legs are coil-shaped with a cocky slanted profile and elegantly go up to the backrest with a tapered profile that gives a beautiful and streamlined feel, almost as if the legs go into nothingness with a soft finish. The legs are connected, which creates very good stability, which is an important factor for both comfort and durability.
Very comfortable armchair at the dining/desk, as a solitaire in the hall and room…
48 cm wide and 45-74 cm high and 50 cm deep.
In absolutely top condition with new upholstery and padding of high quality. The Hallingdal 65 fabric is from the company Kvadrat and these chairs are upholstered in color number 166. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
