Lovely little Art Deco style French secretary desk from the 1950's. The piece is beautifully made with dovetail drawer joints, fluted tapered legs with brass feet and a top brass gallery detail. The upper cabinet doors have a wire mesh detail with removable shades and a lock and working key. There are three drawers and a hinged worksurface. The piece is painted in a robins egg blue color with gold accents. Marked inside the drawer 'Paris Cassard Et Cie.' Just a wonderful piece to bring color and function to any room of your home.
Overall dimensions are 30-1/4" wide x 16-3/4" deep x 52-1/2" high.
Worksurface is 30-1/4" wide x 16-3/4" deep x 28-1/2" high with 22-1/2" high knee clearance.
Top cabinet is 28-1/2" wide x 6-3/4" deep x 17-1/4" high with one adjustable shelf.
Two small drawers measure 12" wide x 5-3/4" deep x 2-1/4" high.
One large drawer measures 25-1/4" wide x 13-1/2" deep x 3-3/4" high.
