Just lovely pair of vintage Japanese painted porcelain trivets with a blue and white phoenix motif. These were meant to hold your tea kettle on the table, but we'd use them for hot dishes when gathering people together, or to hold your Chemex coffee pitcher or even an iced tea pitcher to catch drips, to protect your beautiful dining table.
