Unmarked and unsigned, this striking fixture features sculptural solid teak fins, brass trim, and a tall cylindrical linen shade that beautifully captures the dramatic, architectural aesthetic of 1950s and 1960s California modern design.

When illuminated, the lamp casts a warm, inviting glow through the linen shade, creating a rich atmosphere while highlighting the sculptural teak frame. A distinctive statement piece for dining rooms, living spaces, entryways, or any interior inspired by Mid-Century Modern, Danish Modern, or California Modern design.

Condition:
Overall in good vintage condition with wear consistent with age. The linen shade is intact with no tears and displays light, even age-related discoloration. The solid teak frame retains its original finish with only minor surface wear. The brass trim at the top and bottom shows light scuffing consistent with age, while the original chain has developed an attractive natural patina.

One teak fin has a small chip at the tip, shown in the photographs. Because the fins are evenly spaced, this area can easily be oriented toward the ceiling during installation, making it largely inconspicuous in normal display.

Additional Details:
This is an original swag-style pendant, designed to hang from ceiling hooks with the chain draped to a nearby wall outlet—a popular lighting solution during the 1960s and 1970s that remains both functional and highly decorative today.

The lamp retains its original wiring and chain and is in working order. It uses one standard medium-base (E26) bulb and is compatible with modern LED bulbs. See less
