They stand almost 48” tall and are attributed to the Ethan Allen Old Tavern Collection. They feature dark stained pine. We believe this set is from the early Ethan Allen Old Tavern Collection of which many were originally not marked as Ethan Allen. They wanted to tested the dark pine feature in the marketplace since it was a look they were not known for at that time. It was very well received and they went on to produce a large Old Tavern Collection. The chairs’ inventory numbering does coincide with an Ethan Allen piece. The dining chairs are a traditional Windsor style with extra high spindle backs that stand almost 48” tall and are quite grand
