Late 20th century vintage 1976 darling hand painted relief of a barn owl by the noted Goebel Company of Germany. Wonderful ceramic plate. Not for food consumption. This plate is intended for decorative use only. The plate may be hung on the wall or placed in a stand.
This is the third (#3) edition of the Goebel Wildlife series of collector plates. The plate was produced in 1976.
Goebel is the same company that produces the darling Hummel Figurines.
